The Virginia Department of Transportation and Chesterfield County, assisted by Congressman J. Randy Forbes, Curtis Contracting, Inc. and the Chesterfield County business community, conducted a groundbreaking ceremony today to commemorate the start of work on the Meadowville Road interchange that will link Interstate 295 to the county’s Meadowville Techology Park.
The project will add ramps and auxiliary lanes along I-295 and the Route 10 interchange. The 1,300-acre Meadowville Technology Park is a Virginia economic development mega-site and is home to Northrop Grumman’s Commonwealth Enterprise Solutions Center.
Work is expected to be completed by December 2011.
