After Corey Ambers connected with Eric Finney for a 10-yard touchdown in the second overtime, Peter Coiley missed the extra-point that would have sent the game into a third as Midlothian held on for the 35-34 double overtime victory over Monacan.
Taylor Stout had 15 carries for 71 yards and a touchdown and Madison Day had 58 yards rushing for two touchdowns to lead the Trojans, who improved to 5-4, 3-4 in the Dominion District.
Daniel Jackson had two rushing touchdowns and Kaash McElroy had six tackles, a fumble recovery and Omar Howard had five tackles and a fumble recovery for Midlothian.
Ambers finished 5 for 13 for 107 yards and four touchdowns (one rushing) and Hart Rainey had 17 carries for 84 yards and a score for the Chiefs (4-5, 3-4).
Austin Dunn-Ridgill led Monacan's defense with 10 tackles, block punt and an interception and Jalen Carter had nine tackles.
