The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will bring 10 different entertainment acts at The Diamond throughout their 2010 season.
Performances will be wide-ranging, including the wildly popular Zooperstars in two appearances (May 14, July 2) at The Diamond, the Phillie Phanatic (May 29) making the journey south to Richmond and live Alligator Wrestling at the ballpark (June 18).
The Flying Squirrels will welcome professional wrestling royalty as they present Legends of Wrestling Night (Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Jerry “The King” Lawler) on July 31. Sergeant Slaughter and Uncle Sam will make an appearance on Military Appreciation Night scheduled for June 19. Uncle Sam will also be a part of the team’s Opening Night festivities on April 15 and Independence Day Celebration on July 4. Reggy the Purple Party Dude will get the party started on two separate occasions (April 30, June 9).
Bark in the Park Night on May 19 will feature Skyy Dog USA, while, to help celebrate a Flying Squirrels Cape Giveaway on July 18, a sky diving team will descend on The Diamond. The Flying Squirrels will also welcome a special mystery celebrity to the ballpark on May 13.
