The British are coming!

The number one youth soccer company in the United States, Challenger Sports, will be conducting their nationwide British Soccer training camps at over 70 different locations across Virginia this summer from June 6 through September 2, 2011.

The camps run Monday through Friday and each child will be coached by a member of Challenger’s British coaching staff flown to the USA exclusively to work on these programs. Challenger Sports will be conducting over 2000 camps this summer throughout the US and Canada and will coach a record breaking 115,000 boys and girls from ages 3-18.

Midlothian Middle School will be the site of a Challenger Sports camp from June 27 through July 1. The half-day camp, which will run from 9 a.m. to noon, is available for all children ages 7 through 12. Registration is $125.

Challenger has become the largest soccer camp company in North America by combining consistently high quality, age specific soccer instruction, along with equally important elements of character, cultural, and nutritional education.

Each day the children will practice and master new individual skills and understand small group and team tactics through Challenger’s innovative camp curriculum. Campers will also scrimmage each day in the always popular Camp World Cup! Important lessons on Respect; Responsibility; Integrity; Sportsmanship and Leadership are taught at camp with discussions on how these core values relate to soccer, family and school.

Teams are also welcome to attend and receive a week of focused instruction to prepare them for the fall season. A Challenger British coach will customize a curriculum to suit your teams needs and help you get the most out of your soccer camp.
